Job Title: Children’s Therapies Administrator

Location: Abingdon Hospital, OX14 1AG

Hours: 37 hours per week – Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm

Trust Location: Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust

Role type: Temporary for 6 weeks with possibility of extension

What you’ll be responsible for:

· Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to members of the children’s integrated therapies function, in managing the administrative workload of the team

· Process referrals using local procedures and to book appointments with families and record these using online record

· Provide a polite and efficient reception service to visitors if required

· Order, check maintain and distribute equipment and supplies fo the team and other agencies if required.

· Accurately type and distribute correspondence, minutes, reports and other documents

This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

· Administration experience

· Strong attention to detail

· NHS experience (desirable)

· EMIS system knowledge (Mandatory)

· Competent with Microsoft office programmes
