Impact Recruitment is proud to be working with a growing and well-respected business based in Kettering. Our client is looking for a reliable, hands-on Workshop Assistant to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in timber or woodworking who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Location: Kettering
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm | Friday, 7:30am-12:30pm
Pay: £13.50 per hour (with potential pay increase after 6 months)

What you'll be doing:

Keeping the yard and workshop clean, tidy, and well-organised
Safely stacking wood panels and handling materials
Operating the edge bander machine (training provided if necessary)
Packing customer orders and managing waste/recycling
Supporting skilled team members with woodworking tasks and general duties What we're looking for:

Previous experience working with timber or in a woodworking environment
Comfortable using woodworking tools and machinery
Experience in a factory or workshop setting
A strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-first attitude
