Careys Civil Engineering is seeking experienced and dependable Groundworkers to join our teams delivering major civil engineering projects across the EH3 area. This is an excellent opportunity to work on long-term, high-profile infrastructure schemes with a company recognised for quality, safety, and consistency.
We are particularly interested in individuals who can demonstrate relevant experience, a strong work ethic, and a history of reliable, long-term employment within the construction sector.
What you'll be doing:
* Carrying out excavation, trenching, and general groundwork preparation
* Installing drainage systems, foundations, utilities, and concrete structures
* Safely operating plant and machinery (training provided where required)
* Working collaboratively with site teams to meet programme and quality standards
* Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental requirement son site
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Proven experience in groundworks on civil engineering or construction projects
* Ability to demonstrate consistent, long-term work history within the industry
* Valid Blue CSCS Card (essential)
* Good understanding of manual handling and safe working practices
* Strong commitment to health and safety
* Reliable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team
