£35,000 – £40,000 basic (depending on experience)
OTE £8,000 commission
Introduction
We are working with a growing and well-established training and education provider that delivers funded training, apprenticeships and Learning & Development solutions to organisations across the UK.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an Account Manager to manage and develop relationships with existing clients and newly secured accounts generated by the sales team.
This role focuses on client retention, service utilisation and enrolment growth, ensuring customers maximise value from the services available to them.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of existing and newly onboarded client accounts secured by the sales team
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and long-term partnerships
* Identify opportunities to grow client accounts by increasing usage of training services and learner enrolments
* Support clients in understanding available funded training, apprenticeships and L&D services
* Work closely with internal sales, delivery and compliance teams to ensure a smooth client experience
* Monitor account performance, engagement levels and enrolment activity
* Proactively re-engage dormant or underutilised accounts to drive increased uptake
* Maintain accurate records of client activity, opportunities and engagement levels
* Represent the business professionally, in line with company values and service standards
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in account management, customer success, recruitment or service-based sales
* Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
* Commercial awareness with a focus on account growth and service utilisation
* Confident communicator, comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels
* Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple client accounts effectively
* Experience within training, education, recruitment or professional services (advantageous, not essential)
* Willing and able to attend the Coventry office on a weekly basis (Wednesdays)
