A growing UK-based organisation is looking to appoint an experienced IT leader to take responsibility for its IT services and support the next phase of digital and operational change.
The role will focus on strengthening day-to-day IT service delivery, improving core IT service foundations, and acting as the main point of contact between the UK business, group IT teams, and external suppliers.
The role carries a high degree of autonomy, acting as the central point of ownership for IT services within the UK.
This role offers the chance to take a leading role in evolving the organisation’s IT capability, moving from foundational IT services to a more mature, scalable capability, with scope to influence structure, priorities, and team growth.
Key areas of responsibility:
Overall ownership of IT services and support within the UK
Improving IT service delivery, processes, and controls
Managing third-party IT providers and key suppliers
Working closely with senior stakeholders on technology and change initiatives
Supporting the ongoing development of the IT function as the organisation grows
Background and experience:
Proven experience in IT leadership roles
Comfortable operating in a hands-on, evolving environment
Strong stakeholder and communication skills
Experience working within growing or changing organisations
Exposure to working with centralised or group IT teams is beneficial
