Generator Engineer - Workshop Based

Location: Farnham
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Basic + Overtime (£40-45K+ OTE)

Holt Recruitment is proud to be representing our client, a market leader in the power engineering sector, in their search for a skilled Workshop based Generator Engineer to join their team.
This role is perfect for a driven and experienced engineer who thrives on solving technical challenges, delivering exceptional customer service, and working independently in a dynamic workshop environment.

The Role:

Diagnose and repair a range of diesel generators, including large 2MW in-situ units.
Perform routine maintenance and remedial work on a variety of generator systems.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, fuel, and control system issues.
Build strong working relationships with clients while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Adhere to safety standards and company procedures during all repairs and inspections.The Ideal Candidate:

Minimum of 3 years of experience servicing large diesel generators.
Skilled in both electrical and mechanical aspects of generator systems.
Competent in working independently to diagnose and resolve faults.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer awareness.
Full UK driving licence and proficiency with MS Office tools.What’s On Offer:
