Booster & Interventions Teacher (KS3–KS4)
Salary: £37,868 – £56,154 per annum (aligned with teacher pay scales)
Contract: Full Time, Temporary
Are you a passionate teacher or skilled education professional who thrives on helping students close gaps, build confidence and succeed academically? We are delighted to be recruiting a Booster & Interventions Teacher to join a friendly, welcoming secondary school in Hillingdon, known for its positive culture, excellent student relationships and strong academic focus.
This role is ideal for a qualified teacher (QTS) or an experienced support professional with strong subject knowledge, who enjoys working with small groups and making a visible difference to students’ progress.
About the Role
You will deliver targeted booster and intervention sessions to pupils in Years 7–10, working with groups of up to 8 students per session across the school week. The focus will be on strengthening core knowledge in English, Maths and Science, helping students consolidate learning, build confidence and develop effective study skills.
You’ll work closely with subject teachers and pastoral staff to identify learning gaps, tailor interventions and support students in achieving their potential.
Key responsibilities include:
• Delivering engaging, structured intervention sessions
• Supporting students’ understanding of core subject knowledge
• Adapting teaching approaches to meet varied learning needs
• Tracking progress and providing feedback to staff
• Contributing to a calm, purposeful and motivating learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
You’ll be enthusiastic, approachable and confident working with secondary-age students. You may be a qualified teacher, an ECT, or an experienced intervention specialist or teaching assistant with strong curriculum knowledge. A genuine commitment to student progress, teamwork and positive relationships is essential.
