Role overview

You will be responsible for delivering well-structured, engaging lessons, supporting students' academic progression, and fostering a learning environment where ambition and achievement thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across A-Level, BTEC, or vocational Business Studies courses.
Monitor and assess student progress through coursework, assignments, and examinations.
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
Support students with academic and career guidance.
Ensure high standards of teaching and learning in line with college expectations.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievement, and behaviour.
Job Requirements:

A degree or equivalent in Business Studies or a related field.
Prior experience teaching Business Studies at post-16 or FE level.
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current business trends and practices.
Ability to teach both practical and theoretical content clearly and effectively.
A proactive and reflective approach to teaching and learning.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education).
