We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Handyman to join our team on a self-employed basis. You’ll assist on a wide range of surfacing and groundwork projects, supporting skilled operatives and learning the trade along the way.
Location: National & International Projects
Day Rate: £120–£150 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Duties include:
• General labouring and assisting on site installations
• Site cleaning, preparation, and material handling
• Supporting tradespeople with tools and mixes
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following instructions and working as part of a professional team
You’ll be working across the UK and occasionally overseas. Accommodation is fully covered, and a £25 daily allowance is provided via a payment card for personal expenses.
Requirements (Essential)
• Valid CSCS card
• Enhanced DBS check (mandatory for work on schools/universities)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in groundworks, landscaping, or construction
• Must be CIS registered and hold a valid UTR number
• Willingness to work varied hours depending on project demands
• High standards of cleanliness, teamwork, and respect
Preferred (Desirable)
• Full UK driving licence
• Plant machinery tickets (dumper, telehandler, digger, etc.)
• Experience working on education or commercial projects
