Job Title: Principal Designer (Building Regulations)
Location: Leeds
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Our client is seeking an experienced Principal Designer (Building Regulations) to join their well-established architectural practice based in Leeds on a permanent basis.

This well known Architectural consultancy has built a strong reputation over 30 years specialising in the Commercial, Industrial and retail sectors. Their services include concept design through to project delivery, and acting as Principal Designer is already a core part of their offering making this a well-supported and valued role within the business.

The practice serves a national client base of owner occupiers, landlords, and developers delivering projects of varying scale and complexity across the UK. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring Building Regulations compliance throughout the design and pre-construction phases across an active and varied project portfolio.

Person Specification:
Ideally, we are looking for professionals who have:

Demonstrable experience fulfilling the Principal Designer role
A thorough understanding of Building Regulations and associated compliance requirements
Experience working across commercial, industrial or retail preferable
