Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Supervisor on a permanent basis.

The job you’ll do

* We have a requirement for a Manufacturing Supervisor, with a minimum of Five years experience in the heavy manufacturing industry.

* Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day manufacture of Bespoke equipment.

* Will be responsible for the recording of working hours against production jobs.

* Ensure all H&S and ISO processes are adhered too.

* Organising and issuing of jobs to employees whilst assessing training and ability needs.

* Relevant experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor along with the ability to assist in production of working within a heavy plant environment.

About You

* Good man management skills.

* Computer skills required to enter Data onto Sage.

* Beneficial to have Lean manufacturing experience.

* Experience using power tools and pneumatic tools.

* Experienced using overhead cranes.

* Strong understanding of various welding procedures and health and safety awareness paramount.

* Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Fork lift licence advantageous but not necessary.
