Anglian Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading, well-established Mechanical & Electrical contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality Building Services projects across Cambridge and the surrounding region. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their expanding team.

Key Responsibilities

*

Manage mechanical building services projects typically ranging from £1m–£15m+

*

Oversee all mechanical installations from pre-construction through to handover

*

Coordinate labour, subcontractors, suppliers and site resources

*

Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards and H&S regulations

*

Work with design and engineering teams to ensure accurate and coordinated delivery

*

Attend progress, design and client meetings, providing updates and reports

*

Track budgets, programmes and commercial performance

*

Maintain strong client communication and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

*

Drive projects to successful completion while maintaining high quality standards

What We’re Looking For

*

Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within Building Services

*

Excellent technical understanding of mechanical systems: HVAC, heating, ventilation, cooling, CHW/LTHW and public health

*

Ability to read drawings and interpret technical documentation

*

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage site teams and subcontractors

*

Commercial awareness and the ability to manage budgets and programmes

*

Confident communicator with strong organisational skills

*

Proactive problem-solver with a positive, delivery-focused mindset
