Supply Heroes are working with a fantastic primary school in Handsworth who are looking for an experienced Year 1 Teacher to join their team from January until July 2026 (2 terms). This is a great, well-organised school with a warm and welcoming environment. The school has a large, supportive staff team and a strong leadership structure in place to support teachers. Planning is already prepared and will only require adaptation to suit the class, allowing you to focus on high-quality teaching and pupil progress.

About the Role:

* Full responsibility for a Year 1 class

* Delivering engaging lessons using pre-prepared planning

* Adapting planning to meet the needs of the class

* Working collaboratively within a supportive year group team

* PPA time is completed alongside your year group partner, promoting shared planning and consistency
