We are recruiting for an Early Years Teacher to join a "Good" Ofsted rated Primary School in Gloucester. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an EYFS specialist looking for a long-term role from September 2025. The school is known for its welcoming ethos, supportive leadership, and strong focus on Early Years development. This Early Years Teacher position offers full class responsibilities in a well-resourced environment with excellent behaviour across the school.

Job Role:

Full class responsibilities including planning and marking

Deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS and National Curriculum

Foster a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively

Work collaboratively with the Early Years team and wider school staff

Use assessments to monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly

Commit to the full-time role starting in September 2025

Required Skills and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience as a Primary Teacher, EYFS Teacher, or Early Years Educator

Strong knowledge of the EYFS and National Curriculum

Excellent behaviour management skills

Experience planning, delivering, and assessing in a Primary School setting

This Primary Teacher position is in Gloucester, which is easily commutable from Cheltenham, Stroud, Tewkesbury, Quedgeley, Churchdown, and Brockworth, with excellent transport links from most areas of Gloucestershire.
