Job Title: Year 1 Primary Teacher - Full Time - Southwark - September 2025 Start

Salary: £206 - £268 per day (M1-M6 Inner London Pay Scale)
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (Full Academic Year)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract End Date: July 2026 (with potential to become permanent)

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a thriving and inclusive primary school in Southwark to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Primary Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2025.

This is a long-term role running through to July 2026, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role:

As the Year 1 class teacher, you will:

Take full classroom responsibility

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

Attend staff meetings and INSETs

Communicate effectively with parents, including through regular parent-teacher meetings

Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching Year 1 is advantageous, but all KS1 experience will be considered

Strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and early phonics development

Committed, flexible and team-oriented approach

Salary & Benefits:

Paid to scale from M1 to M6 Inner London

Daily rate from £206 to £268, depending on experience
