The client is currently seeking an experienced nurse qualified Home Manager for their thriving care home located in Wigan. This warm and welcoming setting offers high-quality nursing, residential, and dementia care to elderly residents.
The small to medium care home boasts from a long-standing and dedicated staff team who understand how to provide exceptional person-centred care to all residents. With some small refurbishments taking place within the home, occupancy is currently high with only a small number of empty beds. During the most recently CQC inspection, the home achieved a GOOD rating.
What You'll Be Doing as a Registered Manager:
- Provide strong, person-centred leadership to deliver exceptional care
- Ensure full compliance with CQC standards and safeguarding regulations
- Motivate, develop, and manage a high-performing care team
- Building strong links with the CQC and local authorities
- Drive occupancy through strategic planning and community engagement
- Monitor and control budgets, staffing levels, and financial performance
- Oversee care delivery, hospitality, and facilities standards to ensure a safe and welcoming home environment
- Cultivate relationships with residents, families, professionals, and the wider community
What You'll Need as a Registered Manager:
- 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager in a care home
- Nurse Qualified with an active pin
- Strong track record of managing dementia care services
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- In-depth understanding of care compliance, safeguarding, and inspection frameworks
- Commercially aware and financially astute
- Natural leader - resilient, confident, and passionate about quality care
