Town Planner - Stourbridge

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading planning consultancy in their search for a Town Planner to join their team in Stourbridge.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a planning professional with 2-4 years' experience to take the next step in their career. The role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of projects - from residential and commercial schemes through to mixed-use developments - while being supported to progress professionally.

The Role

Preparing and managing planning applications and appeals

Undertaking planning research, site appraisals and policy analysis

Assisting with the preparation of planning reports, statements and representations

Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders

Supporting senior colleagues and contributing to the successful delivery of projects

About You

2-4 years' post-graduate planning experience (public or private sector)

RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning or a related discipline

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ambitious and proactive, with the drive to progress towards chartered status
