The college is looking for a driven SEND Teaching Assistant to join their talent team of educators. They need to be motivated and enthusiastic towards getting the best out of their learners, through a detailed approach in 1:1 learning and development. They need to be adaptable and be able to deliver high quality support in a range of different courses. The SEND Teaching Assistant must be compassionate and consistent to create a warm and approachable environment for their students to feel safe and inclusive throughout their learning journey. They must have a sensitive approach and have prior experience working with different SEND background students/individuals.

Successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

Grade C / 4 in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
Enjoy working across college faculties i.e. supporting students on a variety of courses
Have recent and demonstrable experience of working with people with special education needs (desirable, but not essential)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
