We’re recruiting on behalf of an exciting new café opening in Rochester, and we’re looking for a passionate and energetic Café Manager to play a key role in bringing this brand-new venture to life.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves being involved from the very beginning — setting standards, building a team, and creating a welcoming space that the local community will love.

✨ The Role

As Café Manager, you’ll take ownership of the café from day one, overseeing the smooth running of daily operations while helping to shape the culture, service style, and customer experience. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a bubbly personality who thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

☕ Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of a newly opened café

Recruit, train, and develop a friendly, motivated team

Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere from opening day onwards

*

Deliver exceptional customer service and manage feedback confidently

*

Set up staff rotas, procedures, and operational systems

*

Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships

*

Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, health & safety standards

*

Handle cashing up, basic financial reporting, and cost control

*

Work closely with the owners to help establish the café’s identity and standards
