The Opportunity
We are hiring for either a Spanish OR Portuguese speaking Business Development Executive to join a global manufacturing and export company based in Birmingham.
In this exciting role, you will work with clients and distributors from LATAM / South America, driving new business and building long-term commercial partnerships.
Job Responsibilities
  * Develop new business opportunities across Latin and South Amercica (Mexico, Brazil, Columbia, Argentina, Peru etc)
  * Identify new sales prospects: markets, clients, projects and accreditations
  * Manage the full sales cycle — from enquiry and lead generation through to order negotiation and shipment
  * Maintain relationships through regular calls, emails, MS Teams meetings and quarterly international visits or exhibitions
  * Manage and develop underperforming accounts
  * Create daily call plans and consistently meet sales KPIs
  * Work closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer service
Candidate Profile
  * Fluency in either Spanish OR Portuguese (Brazilian) and English
  * Experience in Business Development, Sales Executive or Account Management
  * Proven B2B sales experience relating to Latin and South American countries
  * Ideally educated to Degree / HND level or equivalent
  * Strong negotiation, communication and customer service skills
  * Self-motivated, resilient, tenacious and results-driven
