We are looking to recruit a motivated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary SEN school in Wolverhampton. This is a full-time position starting in February 2026, offering the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

*

Delivering one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs

*

Supporting teachers in planning and delivering engaging, accessible, and differentiated lessons

*

Adapting learning resources and strategies to meet individual academic and behavioural needs

*

Promoting independence, confidence, and positive engagement with learning

*

Working collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to provide consistent, high-quality support

The Ideal Candidate

*

Are graduates or soon-to-be graduates from any academic discipline

*

Have experience supporting children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential, as training will be provided)

*

Are patient, resilient, and caring, with a strong commitment to inclusive education

*

Are proactive team players with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a school setting.
