Sales Director - Specialist Contractor

Our client, a distinguished specialist contractor renowned for delivering civils infrastructure projects across key frameworks, is experiencing a period of remarkable growth

Due to their solid reputation and a consistent flow of work, they are now seeking a Sales Director to join their close-knit team at their South Yorkshire office

As the head of a small sales team, you will work collaboratively with senior members of the organisation and report directly to the Managing Director

Your primary responsibilities will involve managing all client inquiries, estimating works, issuing quotes, driving business development initiatives, and fostering key relationships

This role is pivotal as you will be the face of the company in client relations, contributing significantly to their ongoing success and development

The ideal candidate will have;

Proven experience in a sales leadership role within the construction or civil engineering sector

Strong understanding of the civils infrastructure market and the ability to identify business opportunities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client relations and team collaboration

Experience in estimating works and preparing competitive quotes

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients

Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving skills

Ability to motivate and lead a small sales team towards achieving set goals
