Kenton Black are recruiting for a Freelance Site Manager for an upcoming substation project in Leven, Fife.

Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for a freelance opportunity beginning in August 2025? The client is seeking a results-driven Site Manager to lead a high-profile project, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and top-quality execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Civil, Structural, and Architectural work packages.
- Maintain site safety in collaboration with safety personnel.
- Ensure quality assurance alongside the project team.
- Manage schedules with planners, project managers, and subcontractors.
-Track project costs with support from quantity surveyors.
-Lead daily site operations and subcontractor coordination.
-Conduct site meetings and maintain documentation.
-Support final project close-out, including safety and QA files.
-Hold weekly commercial meetings to capture and process variations.
-Implement change management efficiently (cost & programme).
-Review drawings, setting out details, and manage CSA snags.

Qualifications & Experience:
-8+ years of experience with large contractors on industrial projects.
-Engineering degree or relevant trade background.

Skills & Competencies:
-Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
-Strong communication and delegation skills.
-Proficiency in material take-offs and requisitions.
-Solid grasp of Windows and MS Office.
-Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines
