BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
Fantastic role for a Business Development Executive who has experience in the Transport / Logistics / Pallet Network / Freight / Haulage / Distribution industry to join a stable and ever growing business.
Location of the Business Development Executive / Business Development Manager / Freight Sales Executive / Freight and Transport Sales Manager: Liverpool, you will be based from Head office in Liverpool, some days in the office, some days seeing customers, or developing business.
Salary of the Business Development Executive / Business Development Manager / Freight Sales Executive / Freight and Transport Sales Manager: £40,000.00 - £50,000.00 basic pa (DOE) plus Commission, Plus a car allowance
Hours of Works for the Business development executive / Freight Sales Executive: Monday to Friday Days
Please note for this Sales / Business Development role, you will need to have experience in selling full loads, half loads and pallet storage in the Transport / Haulage / Distribution or Freight Industry.
My client, a successful Transport and Haulage company, are looking for an experienced sales executive with a knowledge or experience of selling full loads, half loads and pallet storage to existing clients and also building on bringing in new clients and business. My client is recognised for its commitment to delivering high-quality services to its customers. They are renowned for their exceptional standard across the UK. My client is recognised within Pallet Networks for their Industry leading services. They collect thousands of pallets every day from satisfied customers across the North West. Monitoring every step of the way to ensure that the customers consignment meets its destination according to requirements.
Your role as Sales Executive / Business Development Executive is to approach existing clients or bring on new clients to sell full pallet loads, half pallet loads and also pallet storage.
Job Description for the Business Development Executive / Business Development Manager / Freight Sales Executive / Freight and Transport Sales Manager:
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the North West.
* Selling load carry solutions; Full loads, Half loads and even pallet storage.
* Perform regular client visits to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports.
* Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
* Oversee, grow and lead the sales to ensure results are met.
* Represent the company in all sales meetings, events, and conferences
The Successful Business Development Executive / Business Development Manager / Freight Sales Executive / Freight and Transport Sales Manager:
* Based in the Liverpool area - commutable to Liverpool.
* Proven sales experience ideally within the load carry ( pallet) or Transport, Haulage & Distribution industry ( logistics)
* Good sales leadership background with sales process/structure.
* ·Has and can sell product working within tight margins.
* UK Driving Licence
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Ability to understand and analyse sales performance metrics.
* Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
* Strong communication.
* Demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting clients requirements.
