TIG Welder Fabricator

Location: Near St Neots, Cambridgeshire
Pay: Up to £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Our client, a leading engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of special-purpose machinery, is looking for an experienced TIG Welder Fabricator to join their skilled production team near St Neots. This is an excellent opportunity for a precise and professional welder to work on high-quality stainless-steel fabrication projects within a supportive, growing manufacturing business.

The Role

*

Carry out TIG welding and fabrication of stainless-steel components and assemblies (typically 1 mm – 12 mm thickness).

*

Work accurately from engineering drawings to produce high-quality welded fabrications.

*

Fabricate parts, frames, and structures to fine tolerances.

*

Apply bend allowances and good fabrication practice to ensure correct fit and finish.

*

Assist in general workshop fabrication duties and machine builds as required.

*

Work both independently and collaboratively within a small, experienced team.

About You

*

Proven experience as a TIG Welder Fabricator, ideally in machinery or stainless-steel manufacturing.

*

Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings.

*

Excellent understanding of welding techniques, tolerances, and materials.

*

City & Guilds or equivalent welding/fabrication qualification preferred.

*

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

*

Full UK driving licence and legal right to work in the UK.
