HGV Technician – Mobile (Andover Area)

Salary: £41,000 – £46,000 per annum (DOE)
OTE: £48,000 – £53,000+ per year with overtime
Hours: Monday – Friday, Days (6:00am – 2:00pm)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x hourly rate
Package: Door-to-door pay + Company Van + Fuel Card

Overview
We’re looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join a growing mobile team covering the Andover area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified HGV Technician to work a stable day shift, enjoy door-to-door pay, and represent a business that already delivers an excellent service, all while maintaining a mixed fleet of HGVs on the road.

Key Responsibilities

As a mobile HGV Technician, you will travel across the Andover area to provide onsite maintenance, repairs, and roadside assistance to a mixed fleet of HGVs.

Perform diagnostics and fault-finding using mobile equipment, ensuring vehicles are returned to service swiftly and safely as a professional HGV Technician.

Represent the business with great interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with customers on site.

Complete all necessary documentation accurately and maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.

What You’ll Need

Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ / City & Guilds).

Valid Class 1 / Cat C+E driving licence (essential).

Proven experience as an HGV Technician, ideally in a mobile or field service role.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
