We're seeking a talented and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our dynamic team based in Cheshire.
Role Brief:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a critical role in ensuring commercial success across a range of rail infrastructure projects. You will work closely with the commercial director, clients, and subcontractors to manage costs, assess risks, and drive value at every stage of the project lifecycle.
Candidate Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage project budgets, valuations, and cost forecasts
Administer contracts and subcontracts (NEC experience desirable)
Monitor project performance and ensure commercial reporting is timely and accurate
Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure strong commercial governance
Candidate Requirements:
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
Rail or civil engineering experience preferred
Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (NEC3/NEC4)
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
