Your responsibilities as a Chemistry ECT will include:

Teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4, with some support in KS5 depending on experience

Creating practical and engaging lessons using modern lab equipment and digital tools
*
Inspiring students to explore scientific questions through inquiry-based learning
*
Participating in the wider life of the department, including clubs, trips, and competitions
*
Working closely with your mentor and participating in CPD and training sessions
*
Contributing to schemes of work, lesson planning, and assessment development
*
Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
*
Reflecting on your teaching and implementing feedback to improve practice
Ideal candidates for this Chemistry ECT role will:

Hold a degree in Chemistry or a related field and be completing ITT in 2025

Be organised, reflective, and committed to developing their teaching career
