About the Role:
We are currently looking for a passionate and adaptable Music Teacher to join our team on a supply basis in the Nottingham area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who is enthusiastic about delivering creative and engaging music education to secondary school students.
As a Supply Music Teacher, you will inspire young minds through the power of music, delivering dynamic lessons that encourage creativity, confidence, and collaboration. This flexible role allows you to teach in a variety of schools, adapting to different learning environments and supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons tailored to the curriculum.

Teach practical and theoretical music, including performance, composition, and appreciation.

Engage and motivate students with diverse musical interests and abilities.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive learning atmosphere.

Assess student progress and offer clear, constructive feedback.
*
Support students in developing musical skills and confidence.
*
Collaborate with school staff to support extracurricular music activities and events.
Requirements:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*
A degree in Music or a related field.
*
Experience teaching music at the secondary level (KS3/KS4).
*
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
*
A genuine passion for music and inspiring students.
*
Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
