Senior Quantity Surveyor – M&E/Water – Burnley/Skipton/Hybrid- £65,000 + car allowance

Our client is a design and build business specialising in M&E products and services for water treatment clients throughout the UK. They are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work from their head office in Skipton or from their office in Burnley with one day a week working from Skipton.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, as Senior Quantity Surveyor managing several small to medium projects at any one time, you will ensure commercial compliance of current contracts, protecting the position of the company and provide the delivery teams with commercial support. Working in a small Commercial team you will also have the opportunity to mentor an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

This could be a great opportunity for someone who is a strong Quantity Surveyor, looking to take the step up to a Senior Quantity Surveyor level however you must be able to hit the ground running.

You must be able to demonstrate strong fundamental Quantity Surveying skills and commercial awareness and have experience in the practical application of NEC contracts. A relevant Degree in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management is desirable but not essential.

The role is based from the companies head office in Skipton or from Burnley and hybrid working is available however you will need to have the flexibility to work and occasionally stay away overnight anywhere in the UK. The salary on offer is up to £65k with a car allowance.
