About Us: Pyropress, part of the Pioneer Safety Group, offers explosion protection solutions for industries operating in hazardous areas. We are dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE). We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QHSE Engineer to join our team.

Role Overview: As a QHSE Engineer, you will be responsible for leading Pyropress’s QHSE programmes to ensure compliance with regulations (i.e. ISO9001, ISO14001, Explosion Protection accreditations). You will also support to drive QHSE management principles such as Continuous Improvement across functions and provide QHSE advise to the business

Key Responsibilities:

* Drive the Quality Policy principles into the day-to-day business transactions (internally and externally) through the effective leadership of the Quality Management System (QMS).

* Ensure all compliance requirements are maintained and adhered to

* Support with driving the quality agenda within the production streams and supplier base.

* Represent the business from a quality perspective with customers, suppliers and 3rd parties including site visits and involvement in industry committees when required.

* Define, collate, analyse and report business unit specific performance KPIs to monitor QHSE success against business objectives and QHSE targets.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Degree or HND in electrical or mechanical engineering.

* Understanding of Quality Assurance principles.

* Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001.

* Experience in Quality Management System coordination.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Organizational and planning skills for managing multiple activities.

* Proactive problem-solving and risk management approach.

Desirable Qualifications:

* Experience of working in environments with stringent regulatory requirements such as ATEX, IECEx.

* Formal qualifications in Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental.

Why Join Us: We offer a full-time role working 38.25 hours across 4.5 days (we finish at 12.15pm on Friday!). The salary for this role is up to £45,000 (dependent on experience) with 25 days holiday and the option to purchase an additional 10 days of holiday, health cash plan, 5% employer pension contribution, life assurance, employee assistance programme plus a range of other benefits and wellbeing initiatives
