HGV Mechanic Manager – Up to £48,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

We are seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic Manager to lead our busy workshop team. You must have a strong background in heavy goods vehicle maintenance and proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the HGV workshop
Lead and support a team of skilled mechanics
Ensure all vehicles are serviced, inspected, and maintained to high safety standards
Manage workload scheduling, parts ordering, and compliance documentation
Conduct diagnostic work and support with hands-on repairs when needed
Ensure Vehicles and Trailers are compliant in line with current legislation
Requirements:

Previous experience as an HGV mechanic is essential
Managerial or team leader experience in a workshop environment
Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics and compliance regulations
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Time management skills
