The Role
The firm is seeking a Development Property Solicitor / Associate (1-5 PQE) to join their Manchester office. You'll work on a variety of residential and mixed-use development transactions, providing expert advice on purchases, sales, leases, and development agreements.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in development work, but is also open to candidates with broader property law experience who have handled some development matters or have a keen interest in this area. You will be given the opportunity to work autonomously on high-value deals, while also collaborating with a national team of property specialists.
Key Responsibilities
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating development agreements, leases, and related contracts
Advising on acquisitions, sales, and residential or mixed-use development schemes
Handling due diligence, title research, and post-completion matters
Liaising with clients, lenders, and other professionals to ensure smooth transaction delivery
Contributing to business development initiatives and client relationship management

Skills & Experience
1-5 years PQE in property law, with development experience preferred
Strong technical competence and commercial awareness
Excellent communication skills and client-focused approach
Motivated, adaptable, and confident managing multiple transactions
Ability to contribute to practice development and build lasting client relationships
