A precision engineering business specialising in defence and high-reliability applications is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join their production team. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will focus on delivering high-quality wiring looms and light mechanical assemblies to exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Produce wiring looms using soldered and crimped connectors.
Perform light mechanical assembly of precision components.
Work from drawings, schematics and parts lists to ensure accuracy.
Maintain IPC-A-610 Class 2 assembly standards.
Support production targets and quality requirements.Skills & Experience

Essential:

Proven ability working from technical drawings, schematics and parts lists.
Experience assembling soldered and crimped connectors.
IPC-A-610 Class 2 certification or equivalent soldering/assembly competency.
IT literate with basic MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word).Desirable:
