Our client is a well-established and highly successful manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced Project Engineer / Project Manager to join their team.

The Person:

* Mechanical or Electrical engineering background, either time served or formal qualifications

* Must have experience working within in FMCG / manufacturing

* Experience of working within a complex, multi-disciplined environment

* Exposure in dealing with multiple concurrent customers/suppliers, delivering exceptional customer service

* Good communication skills, confident and capable in client facing role

* Good PC skills with Microsoft Office Suite.

The Role:

* You will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of all aspects of assigned project delivery, including liaising with customers, capturing customer requirements, supporting the project team, and working in partnership with colleagues to deliver on commitments.

* Preparation for and management of all project phases and project deliverables, including: Project Briefs; project schedules; project budgets; and tracking of projects.

* Lead on New Product Development (NPD), liaising with key internal stakeholders & customers;

* Liaising with multi-disciplinary parts of the business and customer;

* Negotiating with contractors and suppliers;

* Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate employees on the progress of the project;

* Manage designated projects from conception to delivery;

* Continually identifying, prioritising and mitigating projects risks and issues;

* Managing project costs and budget including cost-saving measures;

* Leading project meetings, assigning responsibility & adjustments;

This role is working Monday to Friday - 08:30am – 17:00pm.

The salary is £40,000pa - £45,000pa (This salary is negotiable for the right candidate)
