YT Technologies are on the lookout for a SysOps Engineer to join one of our clients in Bath. In this role, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving infrastructure performance, security, and availability across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilties;

*

Manage and monitor production, staging, and development environments to ensure stability and uptime

*

Maintain and improve network, server, and storage infrastructure (AWS VPC, EC2, etc.)

*

Implement automation and infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible

*

Support continuous improvement through upgrades, cloud-native services, and process optimisation

*

Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver reliable systems

Criteria;

*

2+ years’ hands-on experience managing AWS production workloads at scale

*

Strong Linux systems administration background

*

Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible (or similar tools)

*

Knowledge of scripting (Bash/Python), CI/CD, and version control (Git)

*

Experience in incident response and disaster recovery

*

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice to Have

*

AWS Associate certification (or interest in achieving it)

*

Exposure to containerised environments or Azure workloads
