Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer required to join a leading, compressed air supplier.

The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, fault finding of compressed air equipment, including compressors, vacuum pumps, desiccant dryers, chillers, compressed air filtration, nitrogen generators and associated compressor equipment at customer sites across Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a service background in engineering with demonstrable fault finding skills in electrical and/or mechanical engineering, such as compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps. motors, rotating equipment, or similar products. Full product training provided.

To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air products, systems and solutions at customer sites across Yorkshire.
The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, commissioning, diagnostics, fault finding of various compressed air and compressor filtration systems.
Maintain, repair, install, validation & testing of compressed air equipment, including compressors, vacuum pumps, desiccant dryers, chillers, compressed air filtration, nitrogen generators and associated products.
Identifying and providing the customer with compressed air improvements, upgrades, or general aftercare of compressed air products.
Fully remote covering Yorskhire and sorrounding areas. 
Commute to Sheffield for part collections and training.
Liaise with various engineering departments.Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Requirements

Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical and mechanical engineering products.
Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer or similar within rotating equipment.
The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new compressed air customers.
Good working knowledge of servicing compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps. motors, rotating equipment, or similar products
Technical mechanical/electrical, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
Part of the on call rota, 1 week in 9. 
Fully remote, willingness to travel across Yorskshire, and surrounding areas
