Veritas Education is currently recruiting multiple Cover Supervisors to support a number of secondary schools across Wakefield & Kirklees from after the February Half-term break. These roles are ideal for individuals looking to gain school-based experience, support teaching teams, and contribute to positive student outcomes.

About the Role

Supervising classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain on task
Delivering pre-prepared work set by teaching staff
Managing behaviour in line with school policies and expectations
Supporting pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4
Providing feedback to relevant teachers and pastoral leads

What We're Looking For

Experience working with young people (e.g., youth work, coaching, tutoring, mentoring)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A positive, proactive approach and the ability to adapt quickly
A genuine interest in supporting the education and development of secondary-aged students
A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
