Fairhive is a non-profit affordable housing provider with ambition. We already provide affordable housing to more than 20,000 people in our community and are striving to do more. We are expanding our operating area delivering homes that are built to high standards and reduce environmental impact.
As our Sales Progressor at Fairhive you can expect to be an integral member of our team, working with the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the business.
About the role
We are looking for a confident individual with strong interpersonal skills who is able to multi-task to help to successfully deliver a programme of sales within agreed time and income targets. The role will require frequent travel to our Aylesbury office and new home sites within a 30 mile radius of Aylesbury.
On the Job you will:
• Assist with delivering a programme of new home shared ownership sales
• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction with new home sales
• Execute robust sales procedures
• Assist with delivering a small programme of stock sales
About You
We’re looking for someone who can confidently take buyers through the entire shared ownership sales process and who enjoys working with a diverse range of people. You will understand the importance of delivering an efficient and effective service to colleagues and customers.
For this role you will need:
• New home sales experience, preferably including shared ownership sales and nominations
• A track record of dealing with prospective purchasers and pushing sales through
• A track record of driving sales to completion
You will ideally have skills and attributes that include:
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to negotiate formally and informally, internally and externally, securing co-operation from third parties
• Strong numeracy skills and a drive to deliver value for money
• Attention to detail
• Strong planning and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise
• The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
• Practical problem-solving skills
• Computer skills (MS Office)
