Job Title: Carpenter (Temporary Contract)

Location: Rothley, Leicestershire
Pay/Day rate: £150 - £180 per day 
Hours of Work: Full-time, site-based
Type: Temporary – minimum 3 weeks (potential extension)
Start Date: Immediately

We are hiring for a Carpenter

We are recruiting for an experienced Carpenter with strong skills in 1st Fix work, stud wall construction, and roof truss installation. This role is based on a live project in Rothley, Leicestershire, working with a reputable family-run construction business. You will be using your own tools to complete site projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Duties of a Carpenter

In this role you will be working as part of the site team and will be responsible for:

Carrying out 1st Fix joinery work to specification

Building and installing stud walls

Installing roof trusses safely and accurately

Working to site deadlines and project requirements

Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area

Skills and Experience of a Carpenter

As a Carpenter, you need to have experience with:

1st Fix carpentry on residential or commercial projects

Stud wall construction and framework installation

Roof truss assembly and fitting

It would be beneficial to the Carpenter role if you also had:

A valid CSCS card (Blue/Gold preferred)

Your own tools and PPE

Strong awareness of site health & safety standards

Access to reliable transport to the Rothley site
