Join Our Skilled Highways Team in Durham

We're currently looking for an experienced Highways Operative to join a busy carriageway patching gang in the DH7 area of Durham. If you've got experience working with tarmac and are looking for steady, hands-on work - we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

Working as part of a small team laying 10-20 tonnes of tarmac per day
Operating from a mobile hotbox for carriageway patching
Supporting all aspects of highway maintenance and resurfacing
Ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently on public roads
Complying with health & safety regulations at all timesWhat You'll Need

Experience laying tarmac
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Class 2 HGV Licence with CPC (advantageous)
A good work ethic and reliability
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditionsPay & Benefits

£15.00 per hour (paid weekly)
Monday to Friday, full-time hours
Ongoing work with potential for long-term placement

Based in DH7 - Durham area
