Position: Internal Freight Sales Executive
Location: Redditch
Salary: Up to £35,000 (DOE)
Hours: Full-Time, Office-Based, 09:00-17:30

Are you a driven sales professional with a background in freight forwarding? We're looking for an experienced Internal Freight Sales Executive to join our client's team in Redditch, focused on generating new business opportunities within the UK freight sector.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid understanding of UK freight operations who enjoys building client relationships and identifying new leads, without the need to be out on the road.

Key Responsibilities of an Internal Freight Sales Executive:

Proactively contact potential clients via phone and email to generate and qualify new sales leads.

Build a strong sales pipeline and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.

Understand client requirements and offer tailored freight solutions across various modes (road, sea, air).

Collaborate with external sales and operations teams to ensure a smooth handover and seamless customer onboarding.

Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects to convert leads into active customers.

Keep up to date with industry trends, pricing, and service offerings.

What We're Looking For:

You must have proven experience in telesales or internal sales within the freight forwarding industry in the UK.

Strong understanding of UK freight operations and terminology.

Confident communicator with excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills.

Target-driven, self-motivated, and organised.

Comfortable using CRM systems and working in a performance-focused environment.
