IT Technician

We are looking for an experienced IT Technician to join a growing team in Altrincham. This permanent opportunity is ideal for an IT Technician who enjoys hands-on work across both hardware and software configuration, supporting day-to-day operations and contributing to wider IT projects.

The Role

As an IT Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Building, configuring, and supporting desktops, laptops, and mobile devices

*

Installing and maintaining software, ensuring smooth configuration and updates

*

Providing on-site technical support across hardware, software, and networking

*

Troubleshooting incidents effectively, keeping downtime to a minimum

*

Managing user accounts and permissions with Active Directory, Office 365, and Intune

*

Assisting with rollout and upgrade projects as the business continues to modernise

What We’re Looking For

To be successful as an IT Technician, you will have:

*

Proven experience in an IT Technician or IT Support Engineer role

*

Strong knowledge of hardware builds, upgrades, and troubleshooting

*

Confidence with software installation and configuration

*

Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and Intune

*

Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach

*

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
