Experienced Molecular Histologist

Location: Stevenage

Salary: £26.61 p/h

Contract Type: 12 Month Contract

CY Partners are working with a leading pharmaceutical organisation to recruit an experienced Molecular Histologist. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team applying advanced tissue-based assays to support innovative drug discovery.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimise IHC, IF, and ISH assays on human and animal tissues (cryo & FFPE).

Apply multiplex (2–6 plex) and co-localisation techniques to support spatial biology.

Work closely with discovery pathologists and cross-functional teams to design and deliver robust histology data.

Support digital slide scanning and image analysis.

Contribute to lab operations, equipment maintenance, and scientific presentations.

Work in partnership with project teams to understand project issues, provide input and report data to matrix teams, including close networking with all imaging groups. Apply broad knowledge of science, drug discovery and histology/ molecular assays to guide experimental designs that deliver the best possible science.

About You:

Strong background in histology, with hands-on IHC/IF/ISH experience.

Comfortable with both manual and automated platforms.

Knowledge of pathology and tissue-based assay development essential.

Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
