Job Title: Electrician
Location: Manchester (Mobile Role)
Salary: £38,000 – £43,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

The company delivers high-quality installation and maintenance services across a range of sectors, with a strong client base in education, defence, highways infrastructure, and secure environments, including prisons.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our mobile team working across a portfolio of public sector and commercial sites in the Manchester region. The role includes carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and testing tasks in occupied and sensitive environments, including secure facilities such as prisons. All necessary security clearances will be arranged.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance

* Electrical installation and upgrade works

* Fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs

* Inspection and testing (if qualified), with completion of certification

* Use of CAFM systems for job updates and compliance reporting

* Adherence to all site-specific health and safety protocols, including secure site regulations

Requirements:

* ECS Gold Card (Preferred)

* NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)

* City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Testing & Inspection (preferred but not essential)

* Strong background in commercial electrical work, preferably in public sector settings

* Experience working within secure environments (desirable)

* Competent in fault diagnosis and independent problem-solving

* Comfortable using tablets or CAFM systems for job management

* Full UK Driving Licence
