You Recruitment are working on behalf of a well-established and fast-growing company who are a major player in their industry. With over 200 users and a busy IT environment, they’re looking to bring on an IT Help Desk Support to provide essential 1st and 2nd line support across the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for IT support and a strong desire to grow within a hands-on, supportive team.
Location: This is an onsite role, Monday - Friday 8am-5pm near their site situated not far from Margate, Kent
What does the role involve?
* Delivering 1st and 2nd line support to end users across desktop, network, and business systems
* Managing helpdesk tickets and ensuring timely resolution of issues
* Installing, maintaining, and upgrading IT hardware and software
* Setting up and removing user accounts in line with company policies
* Maintaining accurate asset and support documentation
* Participating in a weekend support rota (typically 1 in 4)
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in an IT support role (ideally 1st/2nd line in a busy environment)
* Working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service focus
* Ability to explain technical issues in simple terms
* Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving
* A flexible, team-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in emerging technologies
