Commissioning Engineer – Water Sector (Contract)
Outside IR35 | £400 - £450 per day | 1-month assignment
Location: Suffolk
Ceto Talent are recruiting for a Commissioning Engineer with proven water sector experience to join a short-term utility project on a contract basis. This position is outside IR35 and offers between £400 - £450 per day. This project will focus on commission new drinking water plants into the network.
This role is best suited to candidates based near the Suffolk area due to site location.
Key Responsibilities as a Commissioning Engineer
* Review and deliver commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
* Carry out system checks, testing, and validation of equipment and installations.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Prepare documentation, reports, and handover files.
* Liaise with clients and subcontractors for smooth project delivery.
* Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities for quality assurance.
Key Requirements
* Experience of working in the water sector, ideally waste water, as a Commissioning Engineer
* Degree or Higher Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* Strong commissioning background within the water industry.
* CSCS card and EUSR card (can be obtained quickly if needed)
This is an immediate requirement, so availability at short notice will be a strong advantage
