Job Title: Trainee Warehouse Manager
Please note a Forklift license is essential (Reach)
Location: Dover
Job Type: Full time/permanent (40 hours a week , Monday to Friday 07:00 -16:00 or 08:00 - 17:00 , alternates Saturday (3 hrs)
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The role:
A fantastic opportunity to join a highly reputable and growing transport business, starting initially as a Warehouse Operative whilst you learn the role and get a real understanding of the day to day logistics and company, the role offers a clear path of progression to Warehouse Manager within 2 years.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Reach Forklift to transport and stack materials safely and efficiently.
Manage and organise warehouse stock and inventory with precision.
Ensure timely movement and placement of stock within the facility.
Assist in maintaining the cold store environment, adhering to safety and operational standards.
Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and achieve operational targets.
Contribute to a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
Keep and maintain accurate records and databasesThe role will be working 30% of the time in the cold store & 70% in the office.

Key Skills and Requirements:
Valid Reach Forklift license and proficiency in operation.
Experience with stock movement and inventory management.
Ability to work effectively in a cold store environment.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and undertake training.
Problem-solving mindset and positive attitude
