Description

As the Health & Safety Coordinator you will be tasked with the following;

Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and industry standards.
Conduct regular risk assessments and workplace safety audits to identify potential hazards.
Provide clear guidance and training to employees on safety practices and compliance requirements.
Investigate incidents, accidents, or near misses, and implement corrective actions where needed.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and compliance documentation.
Collaborate with management and operational teams to ensure safety measures are integrated into daily processes.
Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics, providing recommendations for improvement.
Stay updated on changes to health and safety regulations that impact the industrial and manufacturing industry.

Profile

A successful Health & Safety Coordinator should have:

Experience in implementing safety protocols within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
