Role Overview
They are looking to recruit an Electrical Project Engineer / Project Manager to join our growing business and take ownership of electrical projects from tender through to completion. You’ll be hands-on with both design development and delivery, managing subcontractors, procurement, and client liaison throughout.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage electrical packages across multiple MEP projects (£100k–£1.5m) from pre-construction to final handover.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and main contractors to ensure works are delivered to specification and programme.
* Review and develop electrical design and ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements.
* Procure materials, plant and subcontractors in line with project schedules and budgets.
* Manage site teams and subcontractors to ensure H&S, quality, and productivity standards are maintained.
* Attend and lead project meetings, prepare progress reports, and manage variations and cost control.
* Provide technical input and troubleshooting throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer or Project Manager within building services or construction.
* Good knowledge of LV electrical systems including containment, power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, BMS etc.
* Understanding of relevant British Standards and IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
* Strong leadership and communication skills – able to manage subcontractors and coordinate with internal teams.
* Confident working independently in a client-facing role.
* SMSTS, ECS/CSCS, and first aid preferred.
* HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
